Help us build the operating layer for real-world manufacturing.

We're a small team working with the people who actually run production: operators, quality leads, and plant managers in personal care and chemical manufacturing. If that's the kind of problem you want to work on, we'd like to hear from you.
How we work

A small team doing consequential work.

Plant floor first

We design with the people who run the batch. Features start as problems we've watched operators and quality leads wrestle with, not ideas from a whiteboard.

Real ownership

Everyone here owns whole problems end to end. You'll talk to customers, make the call, and ship work that lands in production the same week.

Regulated by default

We build for 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP environments, where being trustworthy matters more than being flashy. Rigour is part of the craft here.

In the field

We spend time in plants, not just on calls. Expect site visits, real batch records, and feedback from the floor within days of shipping.

About Procense

For the past few years, most tech startups have built AI for other tech companies: rev ops, finance, marketing, HR. But the people who stand to gain the most are the ones still working on paper. Front-line operators.

Procense.ai is building the next leader in industrial automation, starting with process manufacturers. From skincare and food to the medicines that keep us healthy, process manufacturers make the essential products we use every day. Yet this industry practically missed the cloud era, and many plants still run production and quality on paper, spreadsheets, and legacy systems.

That’s changing. Manufacturers are under pressure to keep up with demand, competition, and, most importantly, quality. Our AI agents and industrial-grade smart hardware help them modernize how they collect, analyze, and act on production and quality data. The result: better batch performance, fewer deviations, stronger compliance, and higher yields.

About the Role

The BDR role is the launching point for a high-growth career in enterprise SaaS sales. You’ll be at the front of Procense’s go-to-market strategy: hunting for leads, mapping manufacturing accounts, and building demand for our AI-powered production and quality platform across process manufacturers nationwide.

This is a volume-first role. But the best person for this role doesn’t just grind. They also think like a builder, using AI tools and automation to prospect smarter, personalize at scale, and continuously iterate on what’s working. If cold calling AND engineering workflows with Claude that cut your research time in half both sound exciting, you’re who we’re looking for.

  • Activity: 80+ calls a day, plus multi-channel outbound across email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Audience: operations, quality, and manufacturing leaders, plant managers, and supply chain executives
  • How you’re measured: qualified meetings set for the CEO and sales team
  • Career path: top performers earn accelerated commissions and have a clear path to a closing Account Executive role within one year

You Should Apply If...

  • You love talking to people. You’ll make calls to prospective customers every day.
  • You want a career in tech sales. Top BDRs at Procense can see promotion to a closing role in one year or less.
  • You’re a builder. When you find something that works, you immediately ask how to automate and scale it.
  • You have a growth mindset. You treat every call as a chance to get better.
  • You use AI to work smarter. ChatGPT or Claude is already part of how you do your job faster and better.
  • You want to be with the best. You’ll work directly with the CEO alongside people who are serious about winning.

This May Not Be the Right Job If...

  • You aren’t OK with rejection. You will get hung up on and told no, a lot. You need the resilience to keep calling, refine your pitch, and keep getting better.
  • You need a fully built playbook. We’re early stage. The process is being built alongside you. Rigid scripts and hand-holding aren’t available here.
  • You aren’t willing to put in the work. 80+ calls a day isn’t easy, and you won’t get a day off from that call load. But if you put in the work, the commissions and career growth are real.
  • You treat AI tools as a nice-to-have. At Procense, using AI to build workflows, automate research, and work smarter is the norm.
  • You struggle with multi-stakeholder enterprise sales. You’ll be reaching Operations, Quality, and Finance, often within the same account.
  • You want a remote or hybrid role. We’re in office in the Bay Area 5 days a week.
  • You aren’t a team player. We’re small and scrappy. We share what’s working, we help each other, and we win together.

What You’ll Do

  • Cold outreach: make a high volume of cold calls per day to operations leaders, plant managers, and supply chain executives. The phone is one of your primary weapons
  • Own outbound: run high-volume multi-channel outbound across email, phone, and LinkedIn, hitting daily and weekly activity targets consistently
  • Build pipeline: research and build targeted account lists across process manufacturing verticals (chemicals and personal care) using Amplemarket and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Automate and iterate: use AI tools to personalize outreach at scale, automate list-building, and iterate on messaging, always testing subject lines, CTAs, and call openers
  • Build workflows: proactively build internal AI-powered workflows that make you faster: automated research, enrichment pipelines, and follow-up triggers
  • Set meetings: set qualified meetings for the CEO and sales team. This is how your success is measured
  • Partner with leadership: work with the CEO on messaging experiments, ICP refinement, and go-to-market strategy as we scale
  • Own your numbers: keep meticulous records in HubSpot. You own your data, your activity, and your numbers

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements

  • Genuine excitement about building a career in enterprise tech sales
  • Previous cold calling experience and comfort in a high-volume, quota-carrying environment
  • Resilience and a growth mindset: you strive to get better with every rep
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both on the phone and in writing
  • Hands-on, daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Clay, or similar), not just tools you’ve heard of
  • Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage environments where you’re building the playbook as you go
  • Based in the Bay Area and willing to be in office 5 days a week

Bonus

  • You have 1–3 years of BDR/SDR/ADR experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
  • You’ve sold into manufacturing, industrials, food and beverage, pharma, or supply chain
  • You’re familiar with ERP, MES, QMS, or IoT platforms (not required)
  • You’ve worked at a startup before

Tools You’ll Use

  • CRM: HubSpot
  • Prospecting, enrichment, and sequencing: Amplemarket, Clay, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • AI and automation: Claude, ChatGPT, Make/Zapier, custom GPT workflows, and internal AI-native GTM tools

Why Join Procense

  • Be one of the first GTM hires at a well-funded, high-traction startup, with a clear path to Account Executive
  • Work directly with the CEO. Your work has immediate, visible impact on the business
  • Sell a product that solves a real, painful problem in a massive, underserved market
  • SF-based, high-performance culture where the best reps rise fast

Compensation

  • Annual OTE: $80,000 to $100,000+ (base + commission)
  • Accelerated commissions for top performers above target
  • Early-stage equity + full benefits
  • Clear path to Account Executive: top BDRs can promote in one year or less

Founding Account Executive

Location: San Francisco Bay Area (in office 3+ days/week) | Full-Time | Early-Stage Equity | Reports to the CEO

We’re hiring our founding Account Executive. You’ll own the full sales cycle for net-new logos, from first touch to signed contract, across process manufacturers nationwide.

As the founding AE, you’ll build the playbook alongside the CEO and co-founder/head of GTM. You’ll spot the patterns, pivot fast, and shape the GTM motion every future sales hire will run on.

These are true enterprise deals:

  • Deal size: most land between $75,000 and $150,000 ARR, with some above $200,000 ARR
  • Buying committee: Operations, Quality, Plant Leadership, IT, and Finance all have a say, so you’ll align multiple stakeholders on one business case
  • Sales motion: technical discovery, tailored demos, on-site plant visits, layered pricing negotiations, and procurement
  • Audience: you’ll sell straight to plant leaders, VPs, and C-level executives

You Should Apply If...

  • You close big, complex deals. You’ve carried a quota and won $75K+ ARR deals with multiple stakeholders.
  • You want to build, not inherit. You’d rather write the playbook than follow one.
  • You hunt. You’re comfortable generating your own pipeline through strategic outbound.
  • You like the shop floor. Walking a plant, learning how a batch gets made, and earning trust with operators excites you.
  • You use AI to sell smarter. Claude or ChatGPT is already part of how you research accounts, prep for calls, and write follow-ups.
  • You want to be with the best. You’ll work directly with the CEO alongside people who are serious about winning.

This May Not Be the Right Job If...

  • You need a fully built playbook. We’re early stage. The process is being built alongside you.
  • You only work inbound. You’ll source a meaningful share of your own pipeline.
  • You haven’t sold to a buying committee. Aligning Operations, Quality, and Finance on one decision is the job.
  • You don’t want to travel. You’ll be on-site with customers at least monthly.
  • You want a fully remote role. We’re in office in the Bay Area 3+ days a week.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full cycle: run every deal from prospecting through contract close for net-new logos
  • Build your own pipeline: prospect strategically into mid-market and enterprise process manufacturers across personal care, specialty chemicals, nutraceuticals, food, and pharma
  • Run deep discovery: learn how each plant actually runs, then build business cases that quantify ROI in yield, quality, compliance, and labor
  • Navigate the buying committee: map stakeholders, find the economic buyer, and build relationships from the plant floor to the C-suite
  • Lead pilots and proofs of concept: scope them, set success criteria, and convert them into multi-year contracts
  • Negotiate and close: work through layered pricing, procurement, and legal to get deals signed
  • Forecast with discipline: keep a clean pipeline and accurate forecast in HubSpot
  • Build the playbook: partner with the CEO on ICP, messaging, pricing, and process, and help hire and ramp the sales team that follows you
  • Be the voice of the customer: bring field feedback straight to product and engineering

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years in a full-cycle, quota-carrying closing role in B2B SaaS, IoT, or enterprise software
  • Consistent quota over-achievement on complex deals of $75K+ ARR, with some above $150K ARR
  • A track record of winning net-new logos, not only renewals or expansions
  • Experience selling to multi-stakeholder buying committees and owning C-level relationships
  • Comfort with strategic outbound prospecting and building your own pipeline
  • Strong negotiation skills, including multi-year contracts, layered pricing, and procurement
  • Sharp interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Hands-on, daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Clay, or similar)
  • Willingness to travel monthly to meet customers (about 25%)
  • Based in the Bay Area and willing to be in office 3+ days a week

Bonus

  • You’ve sold into legacy or regulated industries: manufacturing, industrials, food and beverage, pharma, or chemicals
  • You’ve sold industrial IoT, MES, QMS, ERP, or other operations software
  • You’ve been an early sales hire at a startup and helped build the playbook
  • You’re trained in MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or a similar framework

Tools You’ll Use

  • CRM: HubSpot
  • Prospecting, enrichment, and sequencing: Amplemarket and Clay
  • AI and automation: Claude, ChatGPT, Make/Zapier, and internal AI-native GTM tools

Why Join Procense

  • Be the first AE at a well-funded, high-traction startup and define how we sell
  • Work directly with the CEO. Your wins and insights shape the company in real time
  • Sell a product that solves a real, painful problem in a massive, underserved market
  • Grow into sales leadership as the team scales
  • SF-based, high-performance culture where the best people rise fast

Compensation

  • Annual OTE: $240,000 to $300,000
  • Uncapped commission with accelerators above quota
  • Early-stage equity + full benefits

Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid 3 days/week in San Francisco, CA US (near public transit)

About Procense

Procense.ai is building the next leader in industrial automation, starting with process manufacturers. We have high demand for our products, and are looking for an experienced full stack software engineer to help us build our unique offering.

From food and pharmaceuticals to chemicals and personal care, process manufacturers produce the essential goods that power our daily lives. Yet many of these non-discrete operations still rely on outdated, paper-based legacy systems for managing production and quality operations.

Procense is changing that. By building AI-powered software with industrial-grade IoT, Procense helps process manufacturers modernize how they collect, analyze, and act on in-process production and quality data. The result: improved batch performance, fewer production issues, improved compliance, higher quality, a system of action for their most critical data, and a platform to generate crucial insights into their operations.

Procense’s engineering team builds and maintains the one-of-a-kind product that powers our customers’ workflows. Our platform is rapidly changing as we iterate on the product, which allows us to meet our customers’ needs efficiently. The goal of the engineering team is to solve problems for our customers, making them more effective - this means that we stay deeply attuned to customer and industry needs. We don’t want to just build something, we want to build the right thing.

You Should Apply If...

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world. The software you build will have real-world stakes: helping manufacture life-saving pharmaceuticals, safe food, and essential chemicals. What ships here shows up directly on the factory floor, in quality control, and on the batch production line.
  • You want to build, not maintain. Procense is in early-stage growth mode, modernizing legacy, paper-based systems with cutting-edge technology. You'd own entire problem spaces end to end, with the autonomy to set direction and shape our platform from day one.
  • You want to work where AI meets industrial automation. Procense is bridging the gap between advanced AI, industrial IoT, and complex process manufacturing. You'll help build systems that turn critical operational data into actionable intelligence and automated workflows.
  • You believe customers are more than a number. Procense engineers maintain a close connection to our users. You'll collaborate directly with leadership, product management, and customers to build a deep domain knowledge and deliver products that solve real problems process engineers face every day.
  • You have the curiosity and drive to figure it out. We’re looking for people who take pride in their work and thrive in an early-stage environment. The engineers who succeed here don’t wait to be told what to build—they define it, ship it, and own the outcome.

What You’ll Do

You'll work across the entire stack — building the interfaces operators use on the shop floor, tools and AI-integrated intelligence systems for administrators and engineers, the backend systems that power the platform, and the infrastructure that ties it together.

  • Build, test, deploy, and maintain new features, bug fixes, and platform improvements to the Procense software suite using React, Typescript, terraform, postgres, and AWS managed services.
  • Work with other engineers, leadership, product management, and customers to build a deep domain knowledge about process engineering so that you can effectively participate in scoping projects that meet customer needs.
  • Build software that effectively integrates with ERPs, QMS systems, and Industrial IoT devices.
  • Guide architecture decisions and mentor other engineers.
  • Contribute effectively to team and company processes, giving feedback and suggestions that help us build a durable, high-impact team and company. Software engineering practice is undergoing a large shift, and you'll be instrumental in keeping us on the cutting edge.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 5-7 years of full-stack development experience
  • Solid JavaScript / TypeScript fundamentals
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks — React, Vue, or Angular
  • Experience building backend services in Node.js, Python, Go, or similar
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Some exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Strong problem-solving instincts and clear communication
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in AI-native development, including LLMs and workflow automation.

An ideal candidate also has

  • Experience shipping AI-powered features in production, including LLM-based products, agentic workflows, or customer-facing AI applications.
  • Comfort with modern AI-augmented development workflows to multiply output and accelerate delivery.

Bonus but not required

  • Exposure to IoT integrations or hardware-connected software systems
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, especially GMP or 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Prior startup experience, or a genuine pull toward early-stage environments
